🐙 A funny little octopus has just made its entrance at ArtAbaska!

A beautiful fox pom-pom, dangling fur legs, and a desire to give it a swat… Introducing the ArtAbaska Octo-Octopus, my brand new cat toy!

To mark its arrival, I’m offering it at a special launch price. Only about sixty toys are available for this launch. ❤️

With its various textures and little paws to grab, I can already imagine it bringing out the little hunter in your kitty! Now, you’ll have to let your cats show us their own way of having fun with this new creation.

🦊 A fox pom-pom and paws full of character

The Octo-Octopus features a generous genuine recycled fox fur pom-pom, with little strips of various recycled furs added to form its legs.

These little legs can be swatted, grabbed, and nibbled during play. When you move the toy, they follow the motion and offer your cat several little grips to explore!

The colors of the pom-pom and the furs used vary depending on available materials. Each Octo-Octopus therefore has its own personality.

♻️ A second life, right down to coat collars

In my workshop, I love finding a use for pieces of fur that aren’t as well-suited to my other creations.

A coat collar, for example, doesn’t always have the right shape to become a mitten or a moccasin. Yet, its fur can still be used to create magnificent little octopus legs!

This toy thus helps repurpose small scraps and certain parts of old coats by giving them a new reason to move… between your cat's paws. 🐾

🎣 To chase on the floor or make dance with a cat wand

A small elastic cord at the front of the toy allows you to attach it to a compatible cat fishing wand.

This way, you can slide the Octo-Octopus across the floor, gently wave its legs, or invite your cat to chase it during a shared play session.

The fishing wand is not included. Always check that the attachment is secure and use the set under your supervision.

🏷️ The little ArtAbaska touch

A soft and fluffy fabric tag with the ArtAbaska logo completes the toy. It is removable.

As with all parts of the toy, monitor its condition and remove it if your cat tries to tear it off or swallow it.

🌿 No catnip inside

The Octo-Octopus does not contain catnip and has no compartment to add any, nor to slide in treats.

Before it departs for your home, I give it a light misting of high-quality liquid catnip intended for cats.

You can also use your own catnip spray by following the manufacturer’s instructions, if your cat reacts well to it.

🐱 A new toy to discover, each in their own way

This little octopus is a newcomer at ArtAbaska. Its pom-pom, textures, and mobile legs are an invitation to explore and play, but every cat has its own personality and preferences.

Some might want to chase it, shake it, or grab it. Others might simply sniff it, keep it close to them, or pay it less attention.

Your cat’s interest and reaction to catnip cannot be guaranteed.

To introduce the toy, move it gently on the floor, let your cat observe it, and give them time to approach at their own pace.

One ArtAbaska Octo-Octopus featuring a genuine recycled fox fur pom-pom, legs made of various recycled fur strips, a removable fabric tag with the ArtAbaska logo, and a small elastic cord to attach it to a compatible cat wand.

A light spray of liquid catnip is applied before shipping. No catnip is inserted into the toy.

🎨 Each creation is unique and the choice is random

The colors of the pom-pom, the types of fur, and their combinations vary according to available materials.

It is not possible to choose a specific color or assembly. The photos show examples of the toys offered.

📌 Durability and safety

Genuine recycled fur is a natural material. This toy is not indestructible. Its lifespan depends on how your cat plays: an animal that pulls hard or nibbles insistently can damage it quickly.

Use this toy under your supervision. Regularly check the legs, pom-pom, seams, tag, and elastic cord.

Do not let your cat swallow fur, strips, thread, the tag, the cord, or any other part of the toy. Remove the toy immediately if it deteriorates or if a piece comes off.

Never attach the cord around your pet’s neck or body. Store the toy and the wand out of reach when the play session is over.

🚚 Free shipping without tracking

Regular shipping is free, paid out of my own pocket as an artisan.

Your toy is shipped via Canada Post, without a tracking number. The usual delivery time is 7 to 15 business days from shipment, sometimes longer depending on postal delays. Weekends and holidays do not count.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order is shipped. As this shipment does not include a tracking number, it is not possible to track its transit or confirm delivery in real-time.

A faster option with a tracking number, via GLS or Purolator, is also offered for $12 at checkout.
