At ArtAbaska, I do not buy fur coats, but I gratefully accept donations from all over Canada. However, more than 50% of old furs cannot be transformed into mittens or moccasins due to their quality, thickness, or species. I need thick and robust furs to ensure the durability of my creations. Each donation is carefully evaluated, and when a fur is not usable as is, I recycle it into felt and fur insoles. Nothing is lost, everything is revalued.

To preserve the quality of your fur products, it is recommended to care for them carefully. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and heat. If necessary, clean them gently with a damp cloth. Just like washing a puppy or kitten, fur products should be cleaned with a damp cloth and allowed to air dry. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact me for specific care advice.
